Certified Pre-Owned:
Each certified pre-owned spa goes through a 128-point inspection checklist, a rigorous 30 days of testing and we stand behind it with a 1-year parts and labor warranty.
Demo:
Has been used by the factory to display at home shows and train factory-certified technicians. This hot tub returns to the factory for a full quality inspection before shipping to Atlanta Hot Tub Center. This hot tub carries a two year parts and labor warranty.
Red tag:
Has a cosmetic blemish from the factory that is repaired professionally by the factory and offered with a discount. The repairs are typically very difficult to find or see. We will provide detailed pictures of the blemish. This hot tub carries the original parts and labor warranty.
Floor model:
Floor models are used as wet or dry demos and are considered to be new and carry the original manufacture's warranty. We give a discount for these hot tubs.

Setting the Industry Standard
With Atlanta Hot Tub Center, you can feel confident in your decision to invest in a pre-owned hot tub. Our pre-owned spas are certified, tested and guaranteed, so you can enjoy all the perks of a brand-new hot tub at a fraction of the price!
Equipment
All mechanical parts of the equipment are tested to ensure that they are in tip-top shape. Parts that don’t meet our standards are repaired or replaced. Here we check the Circulation Pump, Jet Pump(s), Heater, Control Panel functions, and the ozonator, if one is installed, and any other mechanical items that are usually found in the equipment compartment.
Electrical
Just because a mechanical item seems to be running fine, doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s healthy. In this stage, we check things like proper amperage draw, ground leakage, and check for any electrical components that are showing signs of stress. Here we check the control box assembly, GFCIs, Lights, Control Heads, and heater/pump electrical connections.
Plumbing
Once the mechanical and electrical check out, we fill each pre-owned spa, heat it up and run the pump(s), checking to ensure connections are dry, there is proper pressure, and that all of the jet functions are working properly. Here we also check circulation hoses, valves, both air and water, water features, and the filter compartment. Then filled, heated spa goes through a 24-36 hour wet test to ensure quality operation.
Exterior
Almost all certified pre-owned spas that come our way get their cabinet refurbished or sanded and re-stained. Many of our customers are “wowed” by how new the hot tub looks at this point. We also go over the surface, bar-top, cover locks and base, bringing them up to selling standards. Almost all of our refurbished spas receive a brand new cover.
